Badr has pulled off something that’s very hard for ANY lyricist to do. He’s very successful at that, with the help of newcomer lyricist Devdas is a period film, and taking that into consideration, Darbar had to really work hard on creating an ambiance for the songs. HDDCS had, it’s still a great album nevertheless. Though Devdas may not hold the mass appeal that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ismail Darbar join hands once again to give us another awesome soundtrack. However, all I know is, Devdas is the best soundtrack to come out this year, and maybe the best OF the year. Well, is it really worth all that cash? Well that’s for Universal to decide.
Its rights were bought at an unheard of 12 crores by Universal. Subramanium, Shreya Ghosal, Jaspinder Narula, K.K., Pandit Birju Maharaj, Madhuri Dixit, Vinod Rathod, Rashmi Sharma & Supriya Raghav Chatterjeeĭevdas is the highest paid for soundtrack ever. Lyrics: Nusrat Badr, Sameer, and Pandit Birju Maharaj. If the heart is afraid, so be it.Starring: Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, and Jackie Shroff. Sehmi Hai Dhadkan, composed by Vipin Patwa, sung by Atif Aslam and written by Dr Sagar, argues that it is futile to get strung up about the cruelties of fate. The track is a departure from the long-standing tradition of torch songs that express the novel’s themes of themes of unrequited love and fatal affliction. The soundtrack, comprising songs by five composers, includes a tune that speaks directly to Mishra’s interpretation of the novel. Mishra will present the story in reverse – from a nearly-doomed heartbroken and addiction-prone lover to a leader. His March 23 release Daas Dev sets the drama amidst Uttar Pradesh politics. The latest director to turn to Devdas is Sudhir Mishra.
